September 22: Kayak Eco-Tour with Harry Smith Outdoors

Join Harry Smith Outdoors as we explore the upper reaches of the beautiful Wacissa River. This paddle will take us on an amazing journey on one of our area's most pristine spring-fed rivers located in north Florida. We'll spend the day exploring above AND below the water as we "spring hop" to several springs prime for swimming. Masks and snorkels will be provided. Pair that with a plethora of wildlife including alligators, turtles, snakes, numerous wading birds and much, much more! You never know WHAT you'll see on the wild Wacissa. Kayaks, lifejackets and all other necessary equipment provided. Expect to be on the water for ~4 hours.

What to bring: swimwear/water appropriate clothing (avoid cotton), water shoes/sandals, polarized sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, bug spray, water, light snacks, any personal items you may need and a sense of adventure!

Only 10 spots available!

Participants will meet at the Wacissa River headwaters at 9am. Click here for directions.
